SRK and Priyanka Chopra do random ads for Nokia and disappear. But I do not even see much of Nokia India commercials on TV and newspapers these days. They were aggressive during 1st gen Lumia phones but it didn't quite work because of horrible initial pricing. They could have got right this time around. Pricing of low-mid range crop of new lumia devices is very sensible and I have started seeing them around.

Sony India is having 300 crore marketing budget this year alone for Xperia line of smartphones. And they are expecting 3000 crore in sales. So 10% of cost of phone is directly spent on marketing. right? that's huge then. But I am not good into how these things should actually be. Maybe some companies have even higher budget for marketing. Samsung?
