Means you dont have Amber update yet. Because I have seen "Amber Update" words mentioned in "About" for phones which have updated to Amber.

After the update, Firmware is at 1030.6408.1309.0002So it's not Amber update. Just some NSA stuff added by Nokia.Hopefully we will get the real update soon.

This would be my last gamble for any device, will never leave android.
The way updates are being pushed by Nokia, it cant be described.
No one gives any solution that no new updates are being provided, no proper support.
When I called Nokia customer care, he said that there was one update and if it was not received, we need to take a backup and give it to the Nokia care who will look into the issue.
Nokia discussions does not provide any solution.
Finally had to flash the update using NSU, seems it will void the warranty, but who cares.
There are so many people who are thronging the forums as to why the update did not give any new features and how to get AMBER update.
Pathetic way to go out, people will have such a bad experience and Nokia will go out this way!

I have a problem. Thanks to the big rainfall in Bangalore yesterday, I kept my Lumia 520 phone in my backpack and was driving the bike in rain.

Later I found that the there was lot of water in the backpack and my phone got drenched.

Presently Phone works fine (lock/unlock/On/Off) but touchscreen is not working.

I removed the screenguard but still of no avail.

It is out of warranty period and a visit to service centre will incur some costs.

Anyone has any idea what would be the issue and how much it may cost.

I am considering buying a new phone if it costs more than 1.5-2k

Try putting the phone in a bowl of rice overnight. That should absorb all the moisture. No guarantees though, but worth a try.
