Nokia N96 vs. Apple iPhone 3G

the 'i' letter is what Apple tends to take very seriously as always.. i for innovation... yes.. i phone is innovative..

but as a consumer, i would like go for substance than hype, esp if the price is ridiculous.

i find n96 to be a complete multimedia device... a far better option than the iPhone.

5 mp cam vs. 2 mp on iphone
24 gb expandable memory vs. 16 gb in built memory without any external slot
advanced utility tools like adding multimedia content from gallery in your message and send it as a MMS vs. iphone - NO SMS FORWARDING!
A2DP support vs. no support on iphone

also i have even heard the iphone has some serious network problems in other markets.

leave aside plethora of other apps and features available on new S60 F2 platform plus preloaded apps like wave that protects your phone and data.

top it all! speculated price of iphone between 31-38 k for both 2g and 3g models (ridiculous, making the whole country cry), while 28-35k.

the choice is simple.. even though i was planning to pocket a iphone, now i have to give it some serious thought.

it's all about hype buddy...iPhone is more hype than substance...even N95 has more features than iPhone 3G...on Google if you search “iphone vs n95″ or similar phrases, you'll find it out urself...

spending 36K on a phone ! A laptop + Nokia 1110 comes much cheaper than this i was crazy @ one point.. Now am back to normal (brought Nokia 6230i for 15k-2 years back, now they sell the second's for 1500-2000RS) !

N96 certainly has better features and expected to be priced around 30k so it is certainly a better buy than the iPhone methinks
