Nokia's rumoured budget Android smartphone, thought to be codenamed Normandy, has been in the news for months now, with leaked images hitting the Internet on a regular basis, along with speculated availability and specifications. Now @evleaks has claimed that Nokia's only Android phone might be launched as the Nokia X. The popular phone tipster's tweet reads, "Project Normandy = Nokia X." It is noteworthy that in the past, @evleaks has come out with fairly accurate information regarding yet-to-be-announced devices and we will not be surprised if he manages to hit the bull's eye even with Nokia's alleged Android phone.
Unfortunately, there are no details except the alleged Nokia X name which the tipster claims will be Normandy's final name.
So Nokia copying Motorola with new X brand :D
This Nokia's Android dream phone never fails to remain in news :)

I would buy it in a jiffy if the build quality is anywhere near the lumia phones build quality! Love the lumia's build quality but that type of quality on android is found only in some chinese phones.

Fire OS devices are exclusively tied to Amazon's software and content ecosystems; they do not offer any access to Google Play or provide any of Google's proprietary apps or APIs, such as Google Maps or Google Cloud Messaging. In lieu of Google Maps, Fire OS offers Nokia's Here Maps with a clone of Google Maps API 1.0. As Fire OS is incompatible with Google's official Android compatibility standards, Fire OS devices cannot include Google's proprietary software or use the Android trademarks. In addition, members of the Open Handset Alliance (which include the majority of Android OEMs) are contractually forbidden to produce Android devices based on forks of the OS, therefore Kindle Fire tablets are manufactured by Quanta Computer, who is not an OHA member.
This is how Amazon Kindle's OS works. Same should be applicable for Normandy if it become real :)
