I seriously wonder what Apple IPAD2 will be like, especially after Adam!

you think adam is challenging Apple ipad? seriously? it is just one of the many tablets that are being launched in the market. of course, its hardware specification is better than the competition. but motorola's own tegra 2 tablet is coming next year with android 3.0. tablets of these specifications would become fairly common within months if not weeks.

^No buddy, I didnt mean it to be a challenge.. what I mean is that after looking at the specifications of ADAM, Apple will definitely get tempted to advance further in terms of Technology!and Obviously Apple will have an upper hand since they launched the first successful tablet in my opinion..So when is Motorola tegra 2 tab expected? Hope by first quarter of next year

Apple is developing their own customized processor. They do pretty much everything in-house. They follow their own path. They are usually not concerned about what other companies offer in the same segment of the market.

One thing is for sure..ADAM and Olive Pad will continue to lag behind..ADAM is manufactured from Taiwan..so that will be a factor..

But next few tablets to watch out for...are Motorla's Tegra 2 based tablet..and Blackberry Playbook..It seems Samsung is also developing a 10 inch Tegra 2 based Tablet..Not sure how far is it true..

ADAM has been receiving neagtive remarks from many as they took nearly a year to launch...They displayed a prototype last Novemeber..

So How far will ADAM be successful..??

We need to wait and watch..

But the Motorola Tegra 2 Based Tablet will have a final say..!!!

well the problem with adam is that it is being developed by a small company. they have launched this model. they would have to sell enough units to make the entire project profitable. but it's not going to happen. it would sell a lot of units. but nowhere near the models sold by bigger companies. if this model is not profitable, it would become tough for them to launch newer models in the future. i am not sure who is financing their venture... but they cannot survive for long without generating profits. and from what i see, any investments they are getting are probably with the plan that one of the bigger companies would acquire them in the future. if that does not happen, you can be pretty sure that they would not last for another year.

For a company with about 90 staff..They are challenging a big competition...Everything is right from them...But this 1-year wait..will have a negative impact..and surely being an Indian Product and made in Taiwan will play a factor in people's Mind..

I as a Indian appreciate their work..But I have to admit..They need to sort out some niggles...Like After sales support...and so on..

And They need to come out with a strong Bonus feature..

And it also wonders me..who is backing this product..

If you read that entire story..it seems they are targetting Business people at first as they offer huge developer tools for the Tablet..

I still wonder if Pixel Qi is sold out or did they manufacture that product at all..There were few takers for Olive Pad..so There will more takers for ADAM..but the real point will be what is the X-factor that ADAM has compared to others to convince people to buy it..With Tablets coming from Motorola LG and Acer...ADAM has an advantage in price point..But is that sufficient..?This story will develop more and more in the coming days...until the entire Tablet space has settled..
