As it is a software issue, Ola should be at the top of it to release an OTA update asap.
The company needs to own their mistakes with a press release and move on to improve their product rather than burying it.

Isn't this bug like a year old? I remember reading people posting the same issue last year. Amazing job if they still didn't do anything about it.

Yet to hear anything major about Ather scooters, so I wonder what really is the problem. It’s an obvious thing that heat kills the battery and Indian weather conditions aren’t suitable for EVs. Never have been.

It is an electric scooter anyway they could have put the battery in a portable refrigerator and use the battery's power to run it.

A fitted refrigerator is not ideal power consumption wise and water humidity also has to be taken care of. But they can liquid(not water) cool a battery if they want to.
They can put a refrigerator technically but every vehicle will have compressor and that has its own set of set of risks.
It also uses a refrigerant rich in CFCs which pose a risk to the Ozone layer which is slowly recovering
