I am wondering if the upgrade is inevitable, if not, isn't it better to just upgrade?

Impact will depend on how old other cards are in your cibil.

I don't think it would be older than 1 year in most cases.

Applied for new card with aadhar kyc. At last step it shows pending application, after restarting app it again ask for address verification and kyc will be complete.

New card will not become active instantly and physical card will be delivered within 10 days.

I am a little worried about how this company handles disputes. Does anyone have first hand experience?

Would like to mention here that upon confirmation of the offer, your new card setup will be initiated. There is little to worry about as there would not be any hard enquiry with your respective bureaus and there would not be any significant impact on your credit health. Kudos!

In case you do not wish to go ahead with this process, your existing card will be closed within the next 45 days. This window is provided for any refunds or dispute credits on the existing card.
