imagine a credit card that can be turned into any specific bank's card for a specific period of time lol. and you can get all the card offers online lol. banks already provide cards that have both visa and mastercard chips lol.

The concept of one card is kind of that right? One card for multiple banks.

Using same card number will make it truly portable OneCard.

But changing partners means closing cards which could mess up credit score and add lot of inquiries. Right now they are saying no hard inquiry. Flipkart and Amazon paylater have done enough damage already.

Tbh their onescore app is quite nice no spam. Only thing if they could add is email a pdf copy of generated cibil report.
 
I am a little worried about how this company handles disputes. Does anyone have first hand experience?
Yup- tried to raise. Not a very good experience.

I had done a small recharge of 99rs. on the Airtel thanks app which neither got credited to my phone number nor been refunded. According to Airtel, they are not even able to see the transaction. After 10 days (necessary because before that they won't allow to dispute), I tried to raise a dispute. Got a similar copy-paste reply that I should wait for 15 days, even when the days were past 15. I tried to reply on the same mail. But they were stuck on asking for a service denial letter (even when I gave them 3 Airtel service requests screenshots for the same because Airtel does not reply to my emails 🤪). Then I tried calling their call center team and raising the concern that all the conversations went on the Phone and they should raise the dispute. If Airtel wants to fight, they will do it in the allowed time period by VISA. They put me on HOLD then came back acting as they can't hear me. I finally had to disconnect the call.

I have handled these small disputes with other banking partners but they never acted stupidly ignorant like this. First thing- they are not very easily reachable. You can raise a service request from the app to which they will reply in an email after hours or days. If you try to reply to the email, most of the time they will ignore it. Second thing- if you contact them via phone they will again ignore and try to close the matter without any proper action- so not that friendly and approachable.
 
The transaction I had done was on 1st March. It's been 23 days. till now, no I have not received the amount back.
Meanwhile, I contacted Paytm which was their payment gateway and they also confirm the transaction was successful.
Now I have raised this matter with the Airtel Nodal team yesterday with all this new info, I will wait for 2-3 days for the resolution. If I don't hear from them and fail to get any response from Airtel and One card. I will present this matter to NCH.
 
Unfortunately most banks have poor support for normal customer. First they make it hard to find the speak to support option then high waiting time. If you have premium relationship with bank some allow to skip the queue and directly speak to support.

Even Companies like Airtel now don't give a fu*ck about your tweets, email.

With these Fintech Startups its worse, their team is too small, no 24x7, deal with stupid chat bots and finally they act as a middleman so that would make resolving disputes difficult.
