yes DNS-o-matic is good, it updates both OpenDNS as well as ur dynamic DNS provider.

for linux users, there is NO NEED of any additional software

in ur ip-up script just put following and it gets updated

Code:
#DNS-o-matic:/usr/bin/curl -u username:password 'https://updates.dnsomatic.com/nic/update?' &7#OpenDNS, no more needed#/usr/bin/curl -m 30 -u username:password 'https://updates.opendns.com/account/ddns.php?' &

yes, dns-o-matic is really convenient. i also recently moved my multiple dns accounts there. there is a delay in the status update page on dns-o-matic's site, but i havent checked if there is a delay in the actual dns results...

Did u click on "Documentation" link on top right? Everything is clearly written and easily understandable. OpenDNS is highly professional and technically sound team.

Came across this free DNS service provider (just like OpenDNS).

What interested me is that fact that they have got a node in India too (unlike OpenDNS, which concentrates for American and European users)

Here is the official site : DNS Advantage

Ok here are the IPs for the lazy ones amongst u

156.154.70.1 and 156.154.71.1

Check it out guys...

They have blocked incoming ping requests. Here is their statement regarding the same

"For security reasons we do not respond to a "PING" request. Doing so would open up a significant vulnerability to attacks which we are not willing to expose the platform to."
