Peers are complaining of negative balances in Paypal. I wonder what these guys are up to ..

They have temporarily suspended payments from and to india due to some unknown issues. They say they are "answering some questions raised by business partners". I assume GoI is up to something.

One payment of mine was reversed too. I hate being forced to live with the shit that PayPal throws around every now and then. Earlier, my account was limited for unknown reasons and I went through a major headache to get the restrictions removed from my account.

My bank transfer was "temporarily withheld" this morning. Luckily they refunded the amount. Any other alternative to PayPal?

Their are tons of alternatives, but none as widely recognised as PayPal. That's why you need a payment gateway in the first place, isn't it? So that the cash you have in electronic form can be used everywhere as and when required. PayPal's monopoly in the payment gateway field seriously needs to go away.

Paypal has been making restrictions on India as well as other countries, they are restricting money transfer and making it very hard for people who do money laundring.. unfortunatly this affects common day users such as us.
