Paytm Wallet to UPI Payments now possible

Paytm wallet to UPI is here or will be soon i guess. Prepaid instrument to UPI.

Full kyc wallet users can pay to any other UPI.

Our associate Paytm Payments Bank (PPBL), the largest issuer of KYC wallets (prepaid instruments) with over 100 million users, has announced that our full KYC wallet customers will be able to make payments on every UPI QR code and online merchant where UPI payments are accepted.

Paytm Wallet will be universally acceptable on all UPI QRs and online merchants as NPCI announces KYC wallet interoperability

Paytm Payments Bank welcomes the recent NPCI circular, which announces full interoperability of KYC wallets (pre-paid instruments) on all UPI merchants in

If anyone is a full kyc wallet user try making a payment to your UPI QR and share the results.

I do not see wallet option when i scan a upi qr code right now.

Go to Paytm wallet in the app and then click on pay. QR code scanner opens up which says scan any QR code. Nvm, that doesn't work either.

You have full wallet kyc? May be requires an update like UPI lite.

Don't think they have actually rolled out yet. Similar facility is already given by Amazon and they use two distinct UPI ID - one for wallet and another for bank.

lol. i still wonder. what was this announcement all about? for upi to wallet transactions? coz Paytm wallet definitely does not support payments to upi ids. it has 10 months since this blog post which stated that wallet to upi is now supported. lol.
