Plan change procedure

Until now I had separate plans for landline and broadband on the same number. But in recent months the calls made via landline have become negligible. I was thinking of shifting to a combo plan. What is the procedure for it? Will opting for the combo plan disable the landline plan or will I have to request for that separately?
 
Just apply for plan change to a combo plan, the landline plan would be automatically cancelled. Atleast that's what happend when I switched to a combo plan from standalone one few years ago.

Oops. Didn't notice this is for MTNL. The above is for BSNL.
 
What androidfreak said stands true for mtnl also. Call 1500 and request the change to combo plan.
 
both igloo and androidfreak are correct "Call 1500" but i think from the same landline they will see number in caller id and accept the request.....
 
Right. That is if I can get connected. Tried yesterday and tried just now. Too much wait time. Will try it again from landline. Already wasted 10 minutes of my mobile talktime. :/
