I don't know if anybody has recommended this option earlier in this thread. Wait for smaller iPad, expected in October. It will fit in your budget. The range of apps besides the Apple brand is better than anything available in the market.

His original budget was 10k. New Ipad 7" is surely going to be 25+ (Atleast the 3G option)

I read that he has increased the budget. Moreover, tablets costing 10K may not last more than a year.

Still has he increased to more than 30s? Just checked the price New Ipad Wi-fi Only 16 GB is 30k. With 3G its closer to 40. So a Wi-Fi only 7" should cost around 27-28. I wonder if its really worth it. Also he has shown inclination towards 10" devices recently, which means he should have been holding the current New Ipad if price was not an issue I would recommend Nexus for 7" and I remember reading Xoom or Xoom2 getting JellyBean. Or even otherwise there are so many brands that can be got for around 20kPlaybook WiFi 64 GB is an alternate at around 16k as well. Doesnt have USB OTG though, which he wanted.
