@abbyck :P They have like 8 different support numbers, I wonder why they have so many different numbers instead of having a centralised call-centre or something. Syrotech appears much more organised.

Does the above link work for you?

@Realme Try configuring the ONT in bridge mode, and set up the PPP connection from your desktop. See if it helps in reducing the data traffic.

So, another guy created a ticket for me and asked me to prepare anydesk. He said they will do a call back in the order of tickets created.

which screeenshot, well here is fuptopup page one:

EDIT: BUt I have screenshots(from today and other days of erratic data usage counter) and also I have downloaded all the sesion logs in PDF and xls where erratic amount of uploads for 2Mbps POST_FUP speed is reported.

I just wanted to discuss with you guys before escalating it to BSNl to make a rock solid case

Finally, after getting back and forth a couple of times, they remoted into my machine through Anydesk and did the update.

Now there is a Netlink logo on top and the version number is also changed.
netlink.jpg

it is now on Version 1.0.16-191118.
Also the option of TR-069 is also removed(This might be the vulnerability). it is still there
I have got the firmware on my machine. But I don't know the default password. They asked me to change the password immediately after the update.

They also said that another firmware update for BSNL customers is in testing and will inform me when it is ready.
