Welcome to Broadbandforum.in
Can you try telnet or hyperterminal to access the modem pages ?
If you are using \"Dialup\" Wanminiport dialer\"Bridged\" mode this option may be missing , as all Ports are open.
Para two :
REF PORTFORWARDING BSNL /DATAONE UT300R2U MODEM | TechTricks

Try ( Request: FEEDBACK +VE OR -VE please )
192.168.1.1/main.html or
http://192.168.1.1/hwhtml/pMain.html or
http://192.168.1.1/menu.html. or
192.168.1.1./index1.html.

Ya checked out ur posts well it looked gr8 and would have helped me if i have had a virtual server in the modem main page..........But i dont have one!!!!!!!My home page of the modem looks like this...........

Q1 .Did you try Para two ? to get the virtual server option ?
Q2.Are you using DIALER ?
Q3. what about telnet etc ? are you familiar/confident ?
Para two :
Instead of using full quote use like this [ quote ] blah balh [/quote ] without space will look blah blah
Then it is easier to follow up.
Please Edit your message and delete the quote. It is not necessary to use it if you are replying to the previous post immediately.
Or say @essbebe or @ xyz etc to answer a particular member when there are more posts by different users.

I saw your screenshot........even i had a problem like this.......although not quite the same .........my router didn't even have an"advanced option" tab.atleast u have that........now do the followings:go to start>run>type "telnet" in the run box........without the quotesand then a white windows comes upgo to connect>remote system>HOST: 192.168.1.1 (i.e the IP address of your router)port: telnetTermType: vt100(u can also choose ansi)generally you only have to write 192.168.1.1 in hostthe other two are by default set.....now enter ur id and passwordboth are generally "admin"when u type the password it may show only blank......but just type the correct one and press enter.....

Actually i tried para2 tat says many links to modem page well it all leads to the same homepage of the modem!!!!!!!!And i am not usin dialer and i dont know wat ur are sayin abt telnet!!!!Sorry not able to understand those two!!!!!:cry::cry:Well did as u said RIDAM but i am not able to proceed as i enter telnet in the run tab coz it says it cant find telnet!!!!!!! I am usin Vista is there anyother way????? And thanx for givin out a good reply me literally understood tat part but am not able to proceed!!!!!:wall:

telnet is an application through which one can gain access to some remote computer
say ur sitting at ur office......now
if u know the ip of ur home pc........u can get access to it...without even being present at the actual spot!
now

you dont have to understand......much
just do as I said..
follow step by step

first got to start then run then type
telnet in the box.and do as I said in my previous post.........

first try...otherwise how wud u be able to do it.......

first try and then tell me.........

Ohk
now i am not familiar with vista

okay do one thing follow this link
and try to connect using hyperterminal.......
although it is for SL2_141 modem......
it's applicable for any modem/router.....

here's the link read and follow..

https://broadband.forum/bsnl-broadband/24368-configuring-modem-manually/

see if u can.....

Enter Telnet in VISTA in Search in this page for more references .
in their infinite wisdom chose to leave Telnet (telnet.exe) out of the default Vista installation. While I do agree that Telnet is not the most secure of protocols, there is no easier way to troubleshoot port issues and the sort.
The good news is that Telnet does exist in Vista. It's just not turned on. One needs go to Control Panel --> Programs and Features --> Turn Windows features on or off --> select Telnet Client (screen shot).
NOTE: I find it easier to use the 'Classic View' in Control Panel REference : méprisant: Where is Telnet in Windows Vista ?
