i need ur help guyz.....!i purchased dish tv few months back. in the beginning i was getting around 180 channels, but few days back many of the channels such as zee smile, music inda, 9xm, etc and many other channels stopped working. i thought there was some problem with the stb or the dish antenna, and i got both of them checked. after that i rescanned the channels, i only got around 130 channels. and after the scanning completes there is a message saying "some of the transports were missed, press red to install anyway or press yellow to rescan".after rescanning all those channels which were not working disappeared from the list.even the signal quality and strength is 70%.i dont know where am i stuck :wall: and ur help will be highly appreciated.Thanks.

please check the following things.
1) proper angle setting so that it can catch all transports
2) check the cable for any physical damage. If possible replace the cable and check.

you are not mentioned which package you bought.
initially the will give all the chanels for 1 or 2 months, after that they will block the channels not in your package.
pls compare list of channels in your package and what you are getting.

Move the Dish a little towards West.simple , just go and adjust the Dish. The channels you mentioned are of DD DTH which is at 1.5 deg beside Dishtv. so slight adjustment will work.
