Port forwarding not working

Since yesterday I have been noticing that my torrents are not uploading in qbittorrent. Then went ahead and checked portchecker and sure enough the assigned port in qbit is not open anymore. Changed port in qbit and added the same under router port forwarding section but the same. Has anything changed recently or what? Everything was fine until last night. Pls lemme know how to open the port to resume uploading as before. I am a total amateur so pls use dumb lingo. Thanks

Location? Since 2 days, my airtel connection has been behind a cgnat now. Check the ip shown in router and what is shown by external websites. If they are different, then its CGNAT .

Bro got CGNAT'd like the rest of us

The only way ahead now is to get a static ip or take control of your router somehow and bridge that mf into your own router and open ports via ipv6 or something. Or use paid VPN like windscribe with ephemeral port forwarding......

@conquest Kolkata. Yes I checked the ips and they are indeed different. I just didn't realise than I was not under cgnat until now. I thought I was under it from last year itself. Lol
@Hitori_Abhito7 Thanks. Yes, I have been told that I need either a staic ip or VPN. As static ip is a little costly I am going the vpn route. I've been suggested PIA as it is cost efficient.

Just use ip6. You can open port forward through ip6
