Portforwarding Help

Hi Guys,

I have a Linksys WRT54G router and Beetel 220BX ADSL modem.

Now my PC is connected to the router which is connected to the Airtel's Beetel 220BX modem.

In order to enable port forwarding do I need to configure both the modem and the router or just one device. I did get help from site PortForward.com - Free Help Setting up Your Router or Firewall which explains things but things didnt work out. I tried configuring router and modem but I guess there is something I ain't doing correctly.

How do I configure the 2 devices so that portforwarding works?

Will be great if anyone can help me out.

which device have you stored the username/password? what is the ip of the beetel and the Linksys?what is your windows machine's LAN ip?

The username / pw is stored in beetel adsl modem. And that is connected to the router which our systems connect to.to login to adsl modem: 192.168.1.1to login to Linksys router: 192.168.0.1Basically linksys router is a mediator so that we can use wireless/wire.
