my download speed ranges from 50 - 210 kBps...upload is solid at 28 kBps...

lower than 256 kBps almost all the time.Only once did I get an avg download speed of 31 kbps for 8 hrs for a torrent downloaded from BWT

Yesterday I was getting 57kbps/57kbps. Its awsome considering the fact that I am having a 64kbps ul connection.

Do you really mean to ask 256 KB/s 1 MBps 2 MBps ? or is it a typo :-/ .Should be 256 kbps 1 Mbps and 2 Mbps

if i am downloading from microsoft and good ftp sites then i get downloading speeds of around 300KB.And from link-removed it is around 200KB;used to get around 50KB .Thinga are back to normal now.And for torents speed varies depending on the s\l ratio.The best torrent site is BWT.@dishersurfing speed is always mentioned in bits and downloading in bytes so kindly edit your post.

@kevinwilfredwhile doing the speedtest try changing your server to singapore.u will get better results.
