if you want to cover two floors, you will likely need to get two A6/C6. One for each floor. Reinforced concrete will kill your WiFi.

Use one Archer C6/A6 as Primary router and the other as an Access Point.
Modem, use the one provided by Airtel in bridge mode.

Thanks.

D-Link COVR-1100 1200 Mbps Mesh Router
You can try this. though no solid reviews yet.
One for each floor. I have brought 2 of these. Yet to be delivered. Was 3500 without sale. Supports easymesh which may be adapted in openwrt in future.
Comes to 5k after sbi discount for 2pc mesh.

If you get 2 Archer C6's you can use them to create a mesh network under OneMesh functionality

Yeah as much as Mesh WiFi is suited for large areas. OP only has two 1000-1500sqft floors to cover. I think wiring up one router directly would be better for performance in this case.

last time i checked, this is not possible on official firmware at least.
Yes it is possible. I have the latest firmware and I can see the Onemesh functionality, also you can check TP-Link site to see supported routers too.

C6 can operate as a base unit. But other devices have to be repeaters.
