I remember they were quite ambiguous on reddit whenever this question was asked and now within a month of it getting into the kernel they release their own implementation.
Side note though, is wireguard working on the India server for you guys?
EDIT: A restart solved it, surprisingly. Works on India now.
it was not working for me yesterday after the announcement. they confirmed on twitter that it is enabled on indian servers. thanks for confirmation! just tried and works here as well.
