Where do u live? U first show them the problem u r facing. Then tell them ur friend that is me, had a same problem n wen his stb was changed to humax it was solved....
U even tell them that if u r not ready to solve my problem then its better pack this stuff and take it from my house if u dnt solve my problem. In special case they can get a humax stb from their head office which is in bombay. At any cost it is their responsibilty to solve ur problem. Dnt hasitate to ask them for it.

yeah did that.. some 3 times..Apparently no humax digicomp is availaable in blr...Got fed up and spoke to the team leader... He is coming now in a couple of days time..Why dont u give me ur chap no.. in gujrat who serviced u. That way i can tell the team leader to talk to him so it will be easier for everyone.

I don't think they have HUMAX STB's anywhere anymore.I asked them and they said that there are no more STB"s.What they told me it that the STB is like a computer. Once you turn it on you have to wait a few minutes and then the picture will be the same.

Tell me one thing wen u start ur STB (Digicomp) from stand by mode, then only u must b facing problem like freezing of images and as soon u change the channel ur problem is corrected? Right..
And wen digicomp is totally off from the adapter and u switch on the digicomp and ur TV, u may not b facing the problem. Everything starts smoothly and channel u get is 101....Right...
Then ofcourse their is problem if this happens. I was facing this problem..
This happens bcos wen digicomp is made on from standby mode its video frequencies to TV r mismatched for some time.
Switching to HUMAX may surely solve this problem..

Hello. I found that the aspect ratio in picture settings may also result in the kind of problems that are being discussed in this thread. Try cycling between 4:3 and 16:9 (hope i got them correct) ratios and see if it helps. From what I have read here, the problem sounds more complex but this is just a thought.
