Problem while connecting.

Hii all,I am using airtel in Lucknow. And i am facing this problem from some time. My modem takes a hell lot of time to connect(approx. 4-5 minutes) when the modem is started first the lights just keep on blinking, and sometimes when the lights get stable i am still not able to use the net so i have to restart the modem.Is anyone else facing the same problem and is it possible that the problem is due to a faulty modem??thank you.

same problem herem also unable to connect it says authentication errorthen i reboot the modem again and then i connects

your SNR seems to be good , ensure that all your telephones are connected after the SPLITTER.

I've also faced same problem some time back...Engineer changed my modem but nothing happens....but after changing my line This problem has gone....So I advise u to check ur line whether it's Faulty. If it is then Complaint airtel about the line problem and they'll sort it out

Thank you, but how do i check the line because the SNR is preety good this gives the idea that the line is also fine,i.e., their is no disturbances.
