Problem with Scv STB New Connection

Hi all,Today i called m cable operator for new SCV Set top box.He told me that All SCV link throughout chennai are going to be changed to Hathway in a weeks time.so if u book SCV Set top box we would not be able to feed the signals.So kindly wait for a week.Does any one know about this?

The same story my cable operator also told two months back and after that last month I got the SCV Stb
