Question about Wifi laws in India (Illegal to use some1 elses?)

Id like to know if its illegal to use some1 elses wifi connection. For instance, i connect to an open wifi connection which gives me a download speed of 250 kbps and use it all day....is that illegal? i know in the US and other countries there are cases like these where heavy fines are imposed.

It's called Wi-fi hopping and is illegal everywhere in the world. Because it's unethical.
