Question: How to repair/replace remote control

Hello Friends, My remote control is not working properly. It is only 7 months since I bought SD. How to repair or replace this? can I get it locally done?It is very difficult to contact SD for this. and how much is the normal cost?Unfortunately, without remote it is not possible to use SD settop box. Hence I appreciate your feedback.

^ dude its just 100 bucks in Chennai. Better find your nearest dealer and get it from him. Sun Direct's official price is Rs.100 only. Dont give more than tht.

I talked to CC and they said it costs Rs. 100/- and collect from dealer.
I talked to many dealers in bangalore and also distributors, they are quoting between 150 - 200. There is also a duplicate remote which is also available for Rs. 150/-

I do not know why CC is quoting 100. In practical, we will not get it below Rs 150 and there seems to be no warranty.

Dealers are greedy and SD not taking action against them is the reason. Time for SD to open offices and sell directly or atleast give service instead of asking the dealers.

Duplicate similar looking Sundirect remote is available for just 60rs,but need to find it.
