This is India. You will be 70 and it will still remain a developing country. I have drastically cut down my internet usage these days and am concentrating on getting my ass back out of India. Its been 7 years since I started using the net and my situation now is somewhat similar as it was 7 years back. I am able to d/l about 60MB per day now and that comparing the inflation of the net, that is what I used to d/l 7 years back. The only difference is that then it was dialup on vsnl and now it is dsl on bsnl. If you're interested in a free brochure about time travel, go to your nearest bsnl office. I am keeping a tab on my downloads. If it gets too painful to stay under the 2GB limit(18 days now and 900MB), I'll switch to airtel again. Installation charges might be high for 128k ul but that will be nothing compared to worrying about going over your limit with bsnl. If I do switch to airtel, I will raise hell with my bsnl commercial officer about bsnl's stupid download limits when I close the connection.
