RE 205 tp link extender not connecting to jio fibre

Trying to extend my jio fibre coverage on the 2.4ghz band but the re205 will recognise the jio fibre network and complete setup after providing the password. once setup is completed the extender wifi comes on but on it says access denied in my device when trying to connect and wont connect to the extender wifi. but when using to extend my mobiles hotspot the TP-Link extender has no issue and will work and the extended wifi network is also able to connect to the internet and be used normally. Only access to jio fiber wifi network is denied. any idea what might be causing this issue with jio fibre?

To my knowledge, JioFiber and JioAirFiber are not compatible with extenders or routers from other manufacturers. To enhance your network, it would be advisable to opt for an extender provided by Jio to ensure seamless connectivity and support.
