Hi All i lost the bill which contains all the details. now i want to recharge my account. can i use my STB number(Number with barcode visible below the box) to rechare my account. Is there any other alternate way to get the user id. Thanks in advance. RegardsNanda

You can get all the needed information like your customer number, settopbox number etc by using your SMART CARD NUMBER.

All you need to do is switch off your settop box and remove your smart card. In that you will find your smart card number which is usually 11 digit (number only).

Now go to http://selfcare.sundirect.in:5369/webkit_en/htmlui_en/index.html

and in the LOGIN enter your smart card number (ONLY NUMBERS MUST BE ENTERED) and type password as password (all lower case) and login. You will get all the needed information, Even your customer number. ENJOY!:thumbsup:
 
I also one of the customer of SUN DIRECT DTH. I purcharged a recharge coupons for Rs 1000/- and tired to recharge the same. The tool free and the help line numbers are ringing but no lifters. If at all if the line gets the after press button instructions there will be another recorded message as our customer service people our busy try after some time. I tried one full day and half to get recharge my coupon. Todays" electronic age . even for rechargeing of SUN DIRECT TV position /action is like that means it is really a sad affair. The authorities must necessary early action to solve the problem. This can be recharged as done by cell operators.
 
in self care website there is an option for recharge is the link is working, any one try that option? pls clarify :confused:
 
On top of your STB, you will see a small sticker where the smart cart number is entered.No need to pull out the smart card inside the STB.

They guy who came from Sun Direct for installation for me entered all the info of the SIM card on the label before installing it inside the STB.f the guys do not enter ,no other go..you have to pull out the SIM and see for details.
 
How guys, today i got installed sun direct in my home & activated tamil basic package. I want to activate kannada & telugu addon packages also. Can any one tell me where can i get the recharge vouchers in bangalore. When i contacted my dealer for recharge voucher he told me that the vouchers will be available next wednesday or thursday.Regards,
 
Guys I could see all you guys are trying to recharge.. But irony at my end is that my account is more than 2 months and still it has no message for recharge.. I had activated my Connection and activated the 2 months free package on 25th January 2008. Still I am receiving all channels.. Including Tamil, Telugu & Kannada. Does anybody have idea of how the account expiry and recharge works.I have even checked in the self care portal. It shows the expiry as 25th March 2008. But what I doubt is even if I don't recharge now I will receive all channels and may be upon complete launch if I recharge it would deduct the charges of these days. Anybody has any info on these..
