Recommend me an internet plan @ CHennai !

Hi guys,
Iam from Adamabakkam, Chennai. I have been seeing this forum for quite some time and decided to ask u guys for teh same old question. What ineternet plan ??
Iam currently using BSNL ( not exactly because my ineternet is always down these days ). My plan is 750UL with FUP of 6gb @ 1 mbps and @512 kbps beyond that.The problem is BSNL BB has become unreliance in terms of connectivity and support ( even to my friends). So Iam right now looking for a plan which is good enough for my usage.
My requirements:
1. A decent FUP limit > 20 GB
2. Atleast 2 mbps
3. Cheap
4. Support
5. Should not be a headache like BSNL
I don't game much. I download a decent amount of movies and other stuff. As Iam working, I will not be using for the whole day. But whenever Iam at home, My system will be downloading something.
Recently I came across ACT and Tikona. Heard they are cheap and decent. Pls suggest me some ideas guys. Need ur help !

You may have Tata Docomo Broadband in your area. ACT is around Besant Nagar, Mylapore side, if I am not mistaken. For non-critical usage, you can take either of these 2 if they provide service in your area...

@rsatbf Thanks for the input ! Iam very much eager towards tikona and ACT and bth r available in my area. But both have mixed reviews. I can't go for Airtel because its too costly for me. Does anyone share ur views abt tikona and ACT ?

Frankly, I am on BSNL for the past 18 months and have been happy with them, except for their pricing. I do have, offlate, daily downtime for a few minutes, kind of like the modem restarts etc, but never a downtime beyond that. However, if I get ACT in my area, I would jump on it. I am in Anna Nagar East and no one is willing to come this side as it is close to BSNL exchange and they probably feel its a waste. You Broadband is available in my area, but I have read bad reviews so never approached them.
I also read on another thread that BSNL have doubled their offering in AP. I am hoping that trickles down to TN/Chennai as well.

Yeah even I too heard about those. But in my area, it has become very much unreliable in terms of connectivity. BTW I guess those plans would take much time to come here at chennai.And beyond all these, the main reason for unreliable connection here is because of poor lines ( weak too) with excess noise.So I doubt they won't change the overhead lines and all

RIL Jio 4G is laying cables across India, in chennai most places are laid... they are planning anytime by March 2014.
If you have chance try ACT but no support on weekends.( major dis adv)

@raamm Thanks for the input Even I heard about Reliance. BTW between ACT and Tikona, after reding many reviews here, ACT wins my vote ! Still keeping my fingers crossed for many other to put their opinion !

Hi Rajarajan,
I am residing close to your location and looking for a new connection, there are many positive reviews with Reliance 999 plan for speed and FUP but at the end of the day its Reliance they can change anything at any time. ACT Broadband has very good plans than Reliance but everywhere (Chennai,Bangalore,Mumbai...) their customer service was yelled to the maximum.. so bit worried of that have you heard bout the MTS MBLAZEUltra packs? any good??

@Swesh Hi, Swesh ! I too saw few reviews which talked bad about ACT but I guess, as they r just entering Chennai, its still early to comment. Other point is as they r new, they would always try to find customers to expand themselves. So my guess is atleast as of now, they would keep their words.
