yea. this tells me that airtel and vodafone are playing it safe by testing their own thing properly. they would suffer major PR nightmares if something like this was to happen on their network. people are generally more tolerant of failure from reliance (and their customer support). they expect top class service from airtel and vodafone!

Totally along the expected lines.Golden rule#1: Never ever ever go for relianceI do remember times when u call a reliance mobile customer, the phone is busy/switched off/something else but still money gets deducted at ur end. Thats the power of reliance :)

which city was this ?if the 3G is not fully launched there can be little hic-ups in start, and of course the staff will take sometime in getting used to with 3G tech terms.I've seen guys giving shocking answers when blackberry was getting launched.

What else can be said - Reliance "The Biggest Looters" at its work. The worst ever mobile operator in the whole world !

If you weren't on a special plan (eg so many paise per 10KB or whatever) then at least the tariff deduction was correct. CNN.com is a heavy site and from viewing it I'd say 1MB is roughly what I would expect.But the rest, yeah... the customer service and everything else seems quite bad on so many levels.

Huh, 3G working on my friend's phone flawlessly.
Connectivity -> Network -> Dual Mode -> Reliance 3G
Done...

PS : I am from Mumbai too

I'm too waiting for 3G on my SIM card.
Just need a 3G phone. :P
