Reliance Big TV DTH busy in HD Content Acquisition

Launched in ziffy, Big TV has neither added new HD channels nor reduced price of HD STB. With only one HD channel and technical glitches, its keeping quiet. Is this lull before the Storm? It seems so. Big TV is busy in something Big. As per the link below, its in talk with several content provider like BBC, CNN... with Big Money in hand.

There is a major problem with how Reliance operates. They have funds. There is no problem about that. They can acquire content for their HD service. Just like they have dedicated Big branded movie channels. The problem is very basic. They forget the most important aspect of dealing with a consumer. Providing a good service that works. Reliance has always struggled here. They suck when it comes to B2C services. They have all the flashy ads, all the expensive marketing. But the customer who deals with the folks hired by franchisees ends up getting disappointed. The company needs to realize that to become popular amongst their customer base they need to ensure that the part of their network that deals directly with their customers is well paid and trained to do their jobs properly. This is where Airtel has always excelled.

Haha thats true man, BigTV logo sucks big time, they need to change there graphic designer or the way the logo is covering the screen. its sad part!
