Reliance Big TV DTH No body comes to Installll....... stillll

Big TV really sucks. I picked up Big TV STB on 1st Sep, 2008 at Amb (Chennai) subsequently i made the registration for installation. It is day 4, still no installation is done. For the past 4 days, i made more than 12 calls to customer care and i got uniform reply that installation will be done in within 4 four hours. Their service request numbers are not worth it, at least in my case. Whenver i call up customer service, they ask for Smartcard number as if they would take action promptly, but end up saying that installation will be done in a few hours. Now i feel that i made a big mistake of purchasing Big TV STB. Instead, i could have purchased either Tata Sky or Sun DTH. Beware of Big TV. :redface:

Dude.. I had applied for Reliance Broadband on 27th Aug 2008..gave them all the documents and cheques.. But till today there is no sign of connection...whenever I call up the sales executive who came to collect my documents..he says..I have submitted your documents to the concerned department.. within 3 days you would get the connection...!RELIANCE SUCKS !!!!!

sara1, most new users are saying the same thing that bigtv is taking an installation time of aorund 7 to 10 days, so be patient and wait and watch ,,,,

Yes,It is been 10 days over for me.. nobody came for installation. Finally i have escalted this call..And if the installation is not done in another 24 HRS, i will return BIG TV STB to the retailer... They agreed for that and given me a docket number.So if the installation is not happening today, i am going back to the retailer for returning....So when you give a complaint, make sure you follow that and get a docket number so that you will have the proof. Then you can get back your money and go for another DTH.

Hey Guys,Atlast today i have received call from Engineers. They are coming by tomorrow 10 30 for installation.
