You need to say that menu is slow..stb hangs and some other problem to CC and most probably they will send a technician. You will ask that technician to change you STB. and here is you New STB.:thumb:

^Thanks and exactly I did the same.
EDiT: there are some real problems with my STB(model-1)
1) after a few minutes ,if I press Guide menu ,the mosaic(I guess the acronym is correct) stucks/hangs.so ,no keys except mute key works.I have to manually restart by switch-off restart.

So ,I hope model-2 is better.I am gonna ask for that!

The dealer I bought the big dth connection is a moron!He cant help in anyways :x

and my STB model-1 got manufactured in January-2008 in the cover!I missed that!the dealer is the faulty guy here.but he simply blabber the same STB-1 is better and model-2 is flop...but why in the first place he stocks a one year old set top box?and big tv was launched last august 2008 only nationwide?so ,he actually gave me a lemon?

any updates.still Old STB is what we get in Kerala.I heard a OTA update fixed many a bugs?
Now my relative got the Model 2 one month back from a Piravom dealer.

^I was wrong.infact model-2 is what is common.old stocks are what model-1 is!.It is common here too.the ISP is in thodupuzha.
