Reliance DTH: 250 channels in High Definition like quality at no extra cost

^^^What exactly do u call "HD like" quality? Simply stretching a video does not make "HD like" quality
 
oh god... these adag guys are impossible... who could ve stooped to such impropriety but reliance.... they saw all the ways dish got screwed and are now liberally using the word "like" in their words and very soon you might see marketing on these lines... sorry poor customers you are going to be duped out of your money even before you can... ah forget it
 
One question to any DISH TruHD customer.. Are the Upscaled HD channels on TruHD better than SD channels.. or are they worse (like looking badly streched)?? If they are good or better than SD then no harm to getting 250 upscaled channels at no extra cost..
 
Soon, Reliance might launch "3D like" channels! By broadcasting SD channel in two color palettes :D
 
well.. If I scan and print a Rs. 100 note of a full A4 sheet and give it to reliance telling its Rs. 1000 "LIKE" ... will they accept it for my subscription payment ?
 
Well.. they will accept it but as 100Rs.. because they are giving "HD like" channels for free :D... i.e they have not increased channel worth..same way 100Rs note's worth also wont increase :D
 
OFFTOPIC: i heard they are playing coldplay concerts on PPV for 30 bucks in HD. Is it true?

Right now its playing Neil Sedaka's concert at Albert hall later it will be showing James Morrison's ..

never find them showing any exiting concerts
 
They are doing a similar mistake like dish tv. First of all even a novice can tell that they dont have enough transponders for even a HD like broadcast. Mpeg 4 and Dvb s1 technology which they are using can at max beam 4-5 Hd channels(9 mbps streams). They have hardly 15 to 18 transponders and they have to broadcast SD Channels too for their current boxes. Hence most probably they are commiting even a bigger fraud by just set top box upscaling. A thing which existing hd STB's and HDTV's already do. A very bad way to stay in news,shame reliance.
