Try loading website via IP address.
Run Goodbye DPI before loading sites.

Chances are rare but worth a try.

I faced this issue recently and somehow able to make it work. Thought of sharing the info here, it might help someone.
  • Disconnect the hotspot of jio mobile; i.e. your LAPTOP not connected to any device over wifi
  • Let the jio mobile data be ON
  • Connect the mobile to laptop using Bluetooth tethering
  • Connect to globalprotect app
  • Turn on mobile hotsopt in mobile and connect to LAPTOP's wifi
It worked for me.

I have got Jio AirFiber connection recently and was facing the same issue. The solution seems to be rather simple on Windows 11. You just need to change the "Automatic DHCP" to manual assignment. Use the primary DNS as 8.8.8.8 and secondary/alternate DNS as 8.8.4.4. Then, try reconnecting the VPN. At least GlobalProtect VPN worked!!

I am able to connect to google.com and other website on JIO 5G, however GlobalProtect (VPN) is not able to connect and due to this i am not able to connect to remote machine and do my work.

this had happened last month in nov, after some updation it has started giving this issue, earlier it was working fine. not sure where the problem is whether it is Windows updation or Jio has updated some firewall blocking.

please anyone can guide me what can be done to resolve this issue.

facing same issue. openvpn connection to my server works fine on jio 4g and not working on jio 5g. connecting through public ipv6 address on server and tunnel using ipv4.

They are blocking certain protocols (Openvpn) but you can always use wireguard.

I used wireguard config, it drains my battery a lil less than VPN company's app, connects instantly and uses less ram so win win situation at all points i guess.
