Is anyone up for installing LuCI on their router?
I think it shouldn't be that hard and conflicting... Just backup /www somewhere and install LuCI

I would suggest removing some packages that aren't needed (like strongswan, idk why Jio has that) to free up some space, and also as LuCI is "technically" installed, you might want to uninstall it first.

@otus9051 well i tried upgrading luci and frankly i never had an exposure to openwrt so i really don't know if i am doing something right or wrong. But anyway, taking all the precautions that i could; i removed the old luci , changed the default installation path of opkg to an external drive. I guess i now have the latest luci as per the 21.02 snapshot (before doing the upgrade the installed luci had no version info attached to it)

i am up for doing this, though i don't think jio devs arent lurking among us. possibly we could have some better way chat.

@sammyXFR Were you able to disable the wifi? I disabled the radio by modifying /etc/config/wireless file. But for some reason internet is getting disconnected every 5-10 mins after making this change.

@kiran_k thats due to jioWifiManager and another notifier thingy, they don't get killed and run as daemons so we are still working on that. I've got my preboards currently and am busy with that, haven't got time. I'll let the community find it.

Same issue there after stopping/disabling those 3 jioWifi services. Internet disconnects and then reconnects after 12-13 mins
