hello i'm noob can anybody tell me the use cases of having root access i understand you can do cool stuff but for as very basic person what can it be use for like i really want it to separate 2.4ghz and 5ghz into different right now they are mixed or is it hardware restricted and what else i can use it for

If that's true than it is different than the current ones. Can you share the outputs of

cat /proc/cpuinfo
cat /etc/openwrt_release

restart the router and provide the dmesg output; share all the outputs via hastebin

Your router is indeed different. If you don't want the dmesg output lingering here just in case, you can send it via TG link . Usually, dmesg doesn't contain any sensitive information that can be traced back to you. At least, that's the case with our routers.
