I don't know how to create a 5Ghz hotspot on my phone.

My phone is connected to a 5Ghz internet through Jio Fiber Router and when I created a hotspot on my phone, it worked and my PC detected my phone and I am connected to internet via my phone's hotspot.

Is this a 5Ghz connection ?

Problem may be channel. Search for 5g and go to Basic Configuration 5 GHz on the jio router. Change channel to 36, and check if you are able to connect now. Try higher channel on router if already on 36.

Can you tell me the default ip address of Jio Fiber router

hmm, i think the wifi adapter might be defective, maybe the 5Ghz radio on it is broken.

have you tried it on a different pc?

to get the ip of jio router, open cmd, type in 'ifconfig' without quotes. The 'Default Gateway' IP on wifi adapter is your router ip.

Address is 192.168.29.1 Use search button on top for 5g for options to be visible. Alternatively try changing channel selection on PC

Your default region settings on Windows may be the cause of the issue limiting the channels it can view on 5GHz. Or as JB701 has said, your adapter may be defective. As he suggested, use it on some laptop/PC from where 5GHz can be connected and see if this adapter can see those networks as well.
