Why is it in vouchers means, it's introductory offer for 6 months.
If Jio is better for someone in a rural area then that person can praise it. Why should the rest of us in urban areas not criticise it for capping upload speed, having very low FUP and bad routing? In addition, it is Jio that set high expectations by providing free service for fiber and disruptive prices on the mobile side. How can we as customers appreciate it when there is no clarity about when we have to pay, how long would it take for a plan to activate after payment, which plans can be used and so on?
I think the key market for Jio will be underserved areas, where either there is no local SP, or people want better speeds but are not happy with their current SPs. So mostly Tier 2/3 cities.
They know they've ample competition in Tier 1 cities, so I don't think they'll even bother much.
As long they get a good response from other cities, you can cry a river, and it'll not have any effect.
Remember, it's Reliance. They have the power to shut up any Media house (and have done in the past). I surely don't expect any change even if all IBB members get their net disconnected. It's hardly a drop in the ocean.
Let's do what we can, but keep expectations in check.

Doesn't matter when you redeem it. It's only valid for the current cycle, and only gets activated automatically when the base plan FUP expires.
I've already activated my extra 250 gb voucher. It just knows under upcoming plans.

It's my money, I was said that it will be 1:1 since the start. I will complain and I didn't ask you to pay for my broadband.
If you are okay with 1:10 it is your choice.
Btw, I live in metro city and metro deserves 1:1 straight up on FTTH.
As I mentioned before, I got JioFiber when it was free. Imo, back then they were providing excellent service. I wasn't gonna switch then because I was very satisfied with the performance and I had high hopes. My free preview ended last Sat only. And it has been a poor experience since then.
My main gripe is the 1:10 ratio of speeds. They were providing better service when we weren't paying them anything.
I'm gonna get it disconnected. Maybe if in the future they fix this, I'll come back.

I sent them 3 emails. Only got a response one time and it was a system generated mail. I don't think they even look at customer complaints. They were providing better services when it was for FREE. Now that we're paying they're giving such shitty service. What the fuck this makes no sense to me

Same Here, I am not complaining whatever services they have given in Free Preview were fine. I was having fine Download Speeds but Uploads were near 70 Mbps.
My complaint is 1:10 only.
I have received an automated reply from their side on my disconnection email to them.
We are all in the same boat as you. I understand the 1:10 crap but is uploading speed a high priority for your usage now? If not then maybe wait a little and then decide about disconnection, I'm thinking of the same thing.
