considering these are prepaid plans, and you recharge them manually, i do not see why not ?

I was expecting something else,didn't go through the whole article,it seems they are reducing the current price of 1GB plans and are introducing 1.5GB plans..I thought people who have already paid would be getting extra data and users who would want to opt for the 1gigs can go for the cheaper plan

they do not change plans already queued in your account as per my understanding. not sure if they are going to pass on the benefits to ongoing plans and queued recharges.

If you've already paid, you'll get what you paid for. No change takes place in queued recharges.

Since existing operators started offering plans matching with JIO plans, now JIO lowered tarrifs further. Existing operators would again be under pressure.
But I am more happy with Rs 50 price cut then 1.5GB raised limit. As many people would hardly be consuming 1 GB everyday, so price cue is welcoming.
