@Citrus DND can stop promotional messages not these recharge reminders. I have activated full DND on my BSNL, I don't get any kind of promotional msgs but I always receive reminders when my STV is about to expire so I guess those messages from JIO would come in the same category.
@dextermorgan Have you tried calling to that previous number? Do you get ring on it?

so just to be clear. outgoing call would stop working on my dad's jio phone from midnight today? since his connection is subscribed to jio prime, i can do the ~150 wala recharge and he would get unlimited calls plus 2GB data for 28 days right?

Still not working ! even jio.com. Apparently, there was also Cell Signal outage for the last 30 mins.
