Reliance Jio to non-Jio network calls are free from January 1, 2021

Most likely they will say you can use the talktime for stuff like ISD & other VAS

BTW, can we now have the longer ringing tone back? These idiots tried everything to put its customers to inconvenience.
 
Till 31st Dec, topup of 100 gave Rs.81 talk time AND 10 GB data voucher. Now, it gives only Rs.81 talktime. Same for all other topups. Now, one needs to pay extra 101 for 12 GB data (with no talktime).
So by one move, Jio has increased the cost of data.
For those thinking what to do with the balance, the balance can be used for recharge from myjio app. Many people were using cashback offers of various apps to do small topups and then use the accumulated balance for recharge.
 
So gone are the days where data used to freely flow. I ported from Jio to Vi and I am astounded by the 4G speed increase. I get 50 Mbps+ routinely in Mumbai and that is enough for my normal usage.
Previously I had purchased those Jio vouchers to get 1299 24 GB plan. Now all that is over and question of porting back to Jio doesn't even arise.
 
Has any one noticed that the separate display of the value in your account which was used for non jio calls has disappeared. Question is where is the money gone? I don't see any change to my balance or expiry date.🤔😡
Their online chat is totally useless.

Strange then I wonder what happened to my balance? I don't make that many calls. According to their claim it never expires so my adding a 1299 plan in que should not disturb it. Even their statement does not show it. Should have been around 60+ rupees.
