Oh... The bill does exist but it is nowhere close to GDPR of the EU. The EU law is a testimony of what a bill on security, right to privacy should have, ours is just a watered version, nowhere near to what GDPR is. It is as if just to ensure somehow Just. Srikrishna committee recommendations are implemented.
Even though the bill is with the Joint Parliamentary committee and even if they give recommendations to make it more powerful, the ball is in the govts courts to incorporate those recommendations.

Oh..just adding that 4g could have been way better provided there was more spectrum available. Considering that most telcos have just 5 mhz of sub GHZ spectrum makes indoor situation suck. TDD is also not very much flourishing because indian smartphone market consider radio system as just something stupid. Even realme x2 got very shitty radio system. So, we are to be blames also for not demanding (actually most people don't know about radio systems and carrier aggregation) better radio system and clarity about carrier aggregation.

That can happen when reviewers criticize the phones and highlight the issues correctly. The so called Tech Youtubers do not know about radio sometimes 😑 . Many of them work for these companies except a few like GeekyRanjit. Foreign Youtubers are a lot better . MKBHD and LTT are really good

A new phone model comes every week . This makes me get annoyed the most . Gone are those days when we would get new launches every 8 months - 1 year

I have heard these Tech youtubers send the copy of review to the company first and then release it on Youtube .

Wow. They have already given you a 5g connection?
The DoT has allowed Telecom Service Providers to use their existing spectrum (800 MHz, 900 MHz, 1800 MHz and 2500 MHz) for the 5G trials. The experimental spectrum is given in multiple bands including mid-band (3.2 GHz to 3.67 GHz), millimeter wave band (24.25 GHz to 28.5 GHz) and in Sub-Gigahertz band (700 GHz). The trial period is set for 6 months.

I am getting 100 Mbps download speed on JIO mobile network in Navi Mumbai Since Feb. Does that mean they have started 5G trials ? Network type is shown as LTE only.

you need to understand that this is not a public trial. people with 5g phones are not just going to connect to it and use it. afaik, these tests are conducted in a very controlled environment to get the best performance. 5g tower modules also have very limited range so even if they are open to 5g devices, one would have to be extremely lucky to be close to a place where these tests are conducted. you would of course need a compatible 5g device. reliance from what i have read is using their own homegrown technology. i am not sure if any device sold in india is even compatible with it yet.
