i've disable DHCP on Jio ONT and enabled in Pi-hole, no issue in Jio call and Stb box.. using built in pi-hole cloudlfare DNS

This does not change the DNS of Jio that is used by the router. If you change the DNS setting in the WAN heading, then you will experience what all of us are experiencing. By using your method, the DNS traffic generated by the router is being resolved by Jio's server.

ok, but if pi-hole DHCP provides DNS of pihole by default to every device in my network and all DNS queries are going through upstream pi-hole provider and Ads are getting blocked then why do we need to change the DNS in wan setting? in addition, all DNS leak test shows that i m using cloudflare DNS.

Pi-Hole DHCP has seemed to kill my STB and JioVoice too. Disabling IPv6 support over the Pi-Hole’s DHCP option seems to resolve the problem but that eliminates the entire point of running a network-wide ad blocker as most of the sites resolves through IPv6 addresses and IPv4 is just a fallback on Jio’s network.

Jio is really killing the net neutrality.

I figured it out after trial and error
If you disable Ipv6 it will disable Jiocall not sure about STB
Solution
Keep ipv6 wan enabled kill ipv6 in lan dhcp settings
set pi hole as dns server in WAN of ipv4
you will loose ipv6 features but ipv4 will work
Not ideal but no other solution

@sahilg009 how did you disable ipv6 (not dhcp). I think in new firmware upgrade (R1.192) Jio has disbale this option.

if anyone can come up with a working solution i will appreciate
