As shown in 49th Jio AGM today, Jio unveiled 5 Gigabit speed internet that will soon be given for consumer recharge.

Is Jio migrating from GPON to XGS-PON ?

Seems likely otherwise achieving these speeds will be impossible. Lets wait for the tariff however on the shiny side this whole upgradation will force the entire Indian Broadband market to shift / think to shift into higher gigabit speeds and hopefully newer modern wifi 6E or 7 routers too.

Airtel likely will follow suit ig, also hoping if Local Operators does that too

@Skye yes Airfiber is the JioHome nowadays, I'm curious about the new mimosa C6 device making rounds in yt, it will be used ig. Ultra Premium residents maybe getting those

@Kyle Crane Just for AirFiber. Considering they made sure to mention AirFiber there, I see no chance of it coming to JioFiber. So, I doubt we'll see any difference in other broadbands.

Also, they are not even providing JioFiber anymore. So, it must be AirFiber only.
