I had booked my JioPhone online from my Android phone when I was touring Assam and selected Kolkata Pin Code for delivery. I am in Kolkata now, still touring, and JioPhone delivery has started in my location. But I am unable to get the delivery from the Jio Relationship Centre/Vendor. The agent co-operate d and tried to give the delivery but got the message that the Jio Phone Voucher is blocked and I need to call Jio Care while processing my request.

I tried many times on Twitter but only got false promises assuring me that I would get the delivery soon. I also tried calling 198, 18008908900 and 18008899999 but only got access to an IVR message saying my JioPhone is still not ready for delivery.

I am leaving Kolkata on 30th October and have no plans of coming back soon. I also tried changing the Pin Code for delivery to that of Delhi, where I have permanent residence registered with Jio and also cannot transfer it to anyone else anymore on My Jio app as it is shown as non-transferable.

So, am I going to lose my 500 bucks. Or can I call or email someone to get a resolution and delivery before I leave. Someone kindly advise. :emoji_clap:Thanks.

Anyone kindly suggest what to do. I have written to them over email on [email protected] but there is no response.

I am leaving Kolkata for Delhi on 30th October and I am unsure of getting hold of my JioPhone before I leave.

Even I have not got the delivery update of JIO Phone, Thinking of skipping the JIO phone at least I will save my 1000Rs. as others are offering better plans. with 2g and 3g network.

@Jiharsh tried to email them but they said we cannot cancel, please transfer it to someone, after a few days transfer option is disabled it says non transferable, and also message says please contact your nearest jio store to collect, but I want to cancel, they took booking money first and then gave the T&C which is not correct, there should be a way to cancel

Friends, I got my JioPhone on 25th November. I was getting calls and SMSs on a daily basis from Jio from Kolkata number for the last 10 days to pick it up from my nearest Jio Store. The last SMS asked me to collect it from the nearest Jio Store in my own city but before 30th of November. So, I went to the nearest store in Delhi, told them about my booking and got the phone after some processing.

Now some apps like JioTV and JioCinema are working alright. But Jio Music, Jio Games etc are not working. BTW I got a message yesterday saying that there was a firmware update but still those apps are not working. Any idea why?

And I have an existing Jio SIM which the Jio store representative told I couldn't use right away. Can I use that SIM later because I want to retain that number as I had registered my WhatsApp with that number. And also can I install WhatsApp on the new JioPhone and use it with my old Jio number instead of the new number which came with my JioPhone?
