so how is this going to work? you pay an advance and get in a queue? you are informed when a unit allocated to you is in stock at your local retailer?

Its just advance payment for token no like queue .. per retailers can book upto 80 units and per customer can book 1 unit I guess then sept 1week acc to serial no you will be getting message that your mobile arrived to a store sspecified in the pin code entered.m visit that store pay rest 1000rs and get mobile

cool. remains to be seen how reliance would fuck this up. if getting refund would be possible and how. assuming no one has actually used the phone to see if it is even usable.

this phone is a flop as I might say due to some key factors..


1st Jio Sim Locked.. This step was not necessary.

2nd Single sim slot, nowadays all mobile has dual sim so why single sim for jio phone.who use single sim nowadays.

3rd no 2g 3g support..common what the hell .even unlocking wont do any good

4th kai os no support for whatssup , ola etc common apps.

5th tricky toc for refund, 3yrs is a long time till then phone might be damaged or have some facial problem and therefore might not be eligible for refund.

6th no wifi hotspot.. why jio why ? we are paying for data then why even when processor support hotspot jio locked it in first place..we are using the data given not misusing it as it has daily 500mb data so why.

7th for 1500rs phone as we can assume many wont get refund or might be stuck in tricky terms and conditions why vga camera for video calling ..thats worst video call with a high end mobiles like from jio phone to mi or other video calling supported mobiles.. atleast 1/2mp would be better..


I think many from 1st lot will rush for jio phone and later on when everyone understand the disadvantage of this phone it will be a huge flop

yes. they should have marketed it as a phone designed to be used for calling and texting alone. trying to showcase it as a smartphone type device was a big mistake.

yep and should have marketed as jio only phone.. because in my view paying for 1500rs phone that too only for jio with condition that minimum 10 recharges approx(I have seen somewhere) equivalent to 1500rs will be eligible for refund that too it dosent say about mobile condition for refund after 3years..

Its a big no no for me..


reliance jio tricked users actually..

they will be getting 1500rs for recharges plus active users also then again 1500rs as security deposit they will roll the money in stocks plus no gurranty for refund after 3year's..they might add tos for facial damage and all.. so might not get refund too.. actually they are misleading users as free mobile which its clearly a not

how has jio tricked users when the entire thing is already known and no one has paid for it yet?

you do realize that no one is forcing you to get this phone. and people who are getting it are doing it with their own free will?

Instead I am waiting for other unlocked 4g features phones from others like..

Lava M1 Connect 4G
Intex Turbo+ 4G
Micromax Bharat 1

even if it costs 2000rs or apporx I think buying those will be a good choice than jio phone..

Jio is trying to gain monopoly in the telecom segment which is not good..
