Is there anyone in Pune who is using this plan? I'd like some feedback? How quickly does one get this connection?I am in Sinchannagar/Ashok Nagar area. If you live around that region, please share your thoughts. Also, what are their FUP, if any?

reliance don't have FUPalso they have WIMAX and Wireline different department with different departments, both their departments claim their own service is betterReliance has a login page very annoying

Stay away from Reliance Broadband else you'll regret - that is all I have to say.I have read/heard hundreds of reviews that's why I'm saying this. Rest is up to you.

i will add my experience and i can be wrong in the future .. been using reliance broadband from 2 - 3 years now . no fair usage policy . speed is never slow .. as to downtime i have never encountered any major downtime .. yes like other ISPs the net is down for few hours when there are technical issues .. this problem i havent faced in 2-3 months .. i am in the 1mbps day and 2mbps night unlimited plan and the speeds are very good .. never had any billing problems .. biggest con is the customer service because they dont know what they speak most of the times .. all in all 80% of the ISPs in India are pathetic .. u use local cablewallahs and they will always mess with u in some way or the other ( lots of downtime + speed issues etc ) . u use Airtel and u get the fair usag policy thing .. all broadband services will have drawbacks .. i dont know how reliance broadband in pune is maybe u should ask some local whose using it, but here in mumbai i am satisfied with it .. from 7 years of changing plenty ISPs i will rate Reliance as the best i have used so far .. and i wish it stays this way ...

^^^ no way you can check availability online. If you are not in a hurry, leave your details at their website and HOPE they call you.
The speedy way is to go to nearest Reliance Web World, grab the number of a sales executive(they are in plenty scattered all over the town) and give them a call. One call is enough and he will be following you till they get your signature on CAF!!

Oh and forgot to mention, before you give them deposit and sign the CAF, please make them double check the feasibility in your area. Else it may happen that you will be waiting till eternity for their connection.

They denied me a connection though they have their DP just a few meters away and now I am waiting for my refund to arrive from heaven!! :ohyea:
