Is this same software that was supposed to boost up Windows start-up? I think I used it about 2 years ago.

it originally started as a prettier version of msconfig. now it is more than that. you can remotely manage systems of your relatives and the app alerts you when you are running outdated versions of software on your own machines.

was playing with the latest version of soluto. this is their own version of the start menu for windows 8. completely disables metro. free.

the process is quite simple. just install soluto and enable this option.

i love the latest version. it has ninite integration so i can upgrade apps from within the browser. can also install new apps.

this is how i manage my nephew's machine from my own computer. i can update/install software. also manage his startup list.
